1. Ready to apply?

Please read the information on all of our adoption pages so you fully understand the policies and procedures.

2.  Download Adoption Application

To download, right click mouse, choose “save target as.” Do not try to complete application from your browser. When you save, make sure to add your personal name to the filename.

3.  Submit to Adoptions Coordinator

4.  Pay the $25 adoption application fee

Navigate to the PayPal link in our webpage footer area

Select item in drop down menu, make payment

Make sure you indicate that your donation is for your adoption application.

If you do not have a PayPal account, their website will let you donate as a “guest.”

Or, you may mail a check payable to The Lily Sanctuary.

5. Adoptions Coordinator Review

Once received, the Adoption Coordinator will review the application and contact you. Look for an email from her confirming receipt. She will provide the procedures to move to the next step.

6. Adoption Appointment at the Lily Sanctuary

Then you may be invited to visit the sanctuary, by appointment, to meet the birds available for adoption and spend time with them. Let us help match the perfect parrot to the perfect “parront. Thank you for considering adoption, we have many wonderful parrots looking for new homes…….
